Dominical has been a relaxed, sleepy surfer town for many years, and is well known for the incredible sunsets, specially during the summer season. But, beautiful sunsets is not all Dominical has to offer.

World Class surfing (one of the three best surf spots in Costa Rica), great fishing, bird watching, wild life, hiking to the nearby waterfalls, horseback riding, diving, snorkeling, sea kayaking.............a quick selection of a great variety of activities in and around Dominical.

In our spacious reception area we have the Sunset Surf School, a family owned business with their roots in Hawaii. Any questions you might have regarding surf lessons, surfing, or board rentals they’ll be happy to help you. Learn water safety, ocean awareness, and the famous "pop up," beginner to advanced level classes, all ages welcome.

Designed in old-world charm and recently opened, Hotel Domilocos in Dominical Costa Rica is beautifully appointed with warm earth-tones utilizing rich carpeting, fine tiles, and soft curtain fabrics. Our rooms are air-conditioned with bamboo furniture and queen beds. All 23 standard rooms have private bathrooms with hot water showers and room for one double bed, and a maximum of two single beds extra. We can accomodate a maximum of 4 people in all standard rooms. How to get to Beach Hotel Domilocos

If you fly in on San Jose, you can take the bus or a taxi, or you can rent a car. A regular taxi from the airport to Dominical will cost something between $150 and $180. From the airport driving down South we would recommend the road via Athenas, Orotina, Jaco and Quepos to Dominical. With the road between Quepos and Dominical recently paved, it will take you 2,5 to 3,5 hours from the airport to Dominical. Don’t forget to stop at the river Tarcoles. Under the bridge you’ll find a bunch of crocodiles, up to 5 or 6 met..

Hotel Domilocos, Dominical South Pacific, Costa Rica. Our standard rooms are spacious, clean, modern, air-conditioned and they have a hot water shower (private bathroom).
